Second Wind: a public reading series pairing students in University of Montana's Creative Writing MFA program with UM faculty, alumni, and community writers.
Readings are at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evenings at Kulture Kava, 420 N Higgins Ave in Missoula. (In the building behind Jimmy John’s) Admission is free!
Join us this Sunday, January 20, for an evening of reading with Carlos Medina and Molly Priddy.
Carlos Medina, the beloved, the revered, the Cheezit King, sent us this when we asked for a bio: "poet at large without real prospects."
Molly Priddy is a writer living in Northwest Montana. Missoula born and raised, went to Carroll College for undergrad work then UM for a master's in journalism. Works full time as a reporter for the Flathead Beacon newspaper, and freelance essays and articles have appeared in The Guardian, Autostraddle, Catapult, MEL Magazine, and others. Also a staff writer for Autostraddle, the largest independent website for queer women.
