Second Wind, Sunday March 3: Featuring Dwight Curtis and Deirdre McNamer


Second Wind: a public reading series pairing students in University of Montana's Creative Writing MFA program with UM faculty, alumni, and community writers.

Readings are at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evenings at Kulture Kava, 420 N Higgins Ave in Missoula. (In the building behind Jimmy John’s) Admission is free!

Join us this Sunday, March 3, for an evening of reading with Dwight Curtis and Deirdre McNamer.

Dwight Livingstone Curtis is an MFA candidate in fiction at the University of Montana.  His fiction has appeared in Chaleur, The Molotov Cocktail, Shark Reef, Pangyrus, Yolk, Explosion-Proof, Tuesday Magazine, and the Harvard Advocate.

Deirdre McNamer grew up in the sticks and likes to think about that. She has published four novels and has a fifth out there on the high seas sending up flares. She has taught creative writing at the University of Montana for 24 years and, as a result, knows some of the most interesting writers in the land.
