Second Wind, Sunday April 21: Featuring Jesse Durovey and Henrietta Goodman


Second Wind: a public reading series pairing students in University of Montana's Creative Writing MFA program with UM faculty, alumni, and community writers.

Readings are at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evenings. TODAY’S EASTER SUNDAY READING IS AT FACT AND FICTION BOOKS in Missoula. Admission is free!

Join us this Sunday, April 21, for an evening of reading with Jesse Durovey and Henrietta Goodman.


Jesse Durovey is an MFA candidate in fiction at the University of Montana. He is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and loves myths, fables, and war stories. His writing has appeared in riverSedgePecan Grove Review, and Brilliant Flash Fiction. He lives in Huson, Montana, with his wife, Tamara, and their three sons.


Henrietta Goodman is the author of three books of poetry: Take What You Want, which won the Beatrice Hawley Award from Alice James Books in 2006; Hungry Moon, published by Colorado State University in 2013; and All That Held Us, a sonnet-sequence that won the John Ciardi Prize from BkMk Press at the University of Missouri in 2018. Her poems and essays have recently appeared or are forthcoming in Terrain, Western Humanities Review, The American Journal of Poetry, The New England Review, and other journals. She lives in Missoula and teaches at the University of Montana and at Texas Tech University.
