Second Wind: a public reading series pairing students in University of Montana's Creative Writing MFA program with UM faculty, alumni, and community writers.

Join us this Sunday, September 22, for an evening of reading with Abby Seethoff and William Russell Wallace.
William Russell Wallace spent a decade on the road with several bands before taking a break to get his MFA in Fiction from the University of Montana. His new record, DIRTY SOUL, is a raw collection of songs about redemption in the face of self-destruction and addiction. His fiction can be found in Yemassee (winner of the 2018 Yemassee Prize in Fiction), Breakwater Review (runner-up in the 2019 Fiction Contest), Carve, and elsewhere. He currently lives in Idyllwild, CA. Find more at williamrussellwallace.com.
Abby Seethoff is an essayist from Bellevue, Washington. Some of her work interrogates gender, industrial complexes, and the American culture of atonement. Some of it illuminates her senses of humor, wonder, and curiosity. Her best pieces do both. Previously she studied English and Spanish at Whitman College; nowadays she resides in Missoula, Montana, where she plays a lot of volleyball and eats a lot of cake.
